Spirit of America Federal Credit Union is "making a difference" in the lives of others! We area not for profit, member owned, financial cooperative, serving the Military, Federal, Postal employees and thier families.Our goal is to assistthemto financialsuccess.

In 1932, during the Great Depression, many Federal employees were on leave without pay. Twelve who wereemployed pooled their money together to charter our Credit Union,thereby making low interestloans to their co-workersin need. "People Helping People" was our philosphy then as it is today,evident in many ways including the support of military families who have loved ones deployed.

Spirit of Americabegan with the belief of "Not for Profit, But for Service" andouremployees continue"making a difference"for our members 85 years later!
