Position Overview:
The Director of Sales at HorsePower Brands is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and driving the company’s sales vision, leading the sales department, and fostering strong relationships with franchisees. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the company’s growth and success by implementing effective sales strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Sales Department Development: Champion the development and management of the sales department, ensuring it aligns with HorsePower Brands’ values and has the necessary tools, processes, and personnel to achieve its goals.
  • Strategic Sales Vision: Craft and implement a clear sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and maximizes success through effective processes and tools.
  • Team Leadership and Motivation: Lead and motivate the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and support to achieve targets and improve customer service with franchisees.
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Design and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets, adapting strategies to market changes and aligning with broader business goals.
  • Relationship Cultivation: Build strong relationships with franchisees to drive successful outcomes and ensure their needs are met and feedback is integrated into the sales strategy.
  • Sales Objectives and Reporting: Develop and promote sales objectives, track progress, and provide regular performance updates to senior management, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Market Analysis and Sales Forecasting: Conduct market research to identify optimal selling prices and predict sales performance, guiding strategic planning with accurate forecasts and models.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of sales leadership experience with track record of success.
  • Previous Home Service experience in either, roofing, HVAC, painting, glass installation, spray foam installation, window coverings, lawn care, lighting installation.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding training acumen, with exceptional negotiation & leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Previous franchise experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, preferred.
