We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corrosion Engineer to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies.This role is crucial in ensuring long-term infrastructure integrity. This role will involve managing projects across North America.

This position is a remote work location option.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of corrosion prevention and mitigation programs.

  • Oversee the inspection, assessment, and maintenance of infrastructure to identify and address corrosion issues.

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the durability and reliability of assets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate corrosion control measures into new and existing projects.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on corrosion-related matters to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to corrosion control

  • Client relationships and involvement with project pursuits. .

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field and 8 years of related engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Professional Engineer license

  • Experience in corrosion engineering, preferably within the water/wastewater or transportation industry.

  • Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials selection, stray current mitigation, cathodic protection, and protective coatings.

  • Experience leading successful corrosion prevention and mitigation projects.

  • Experience and proficiency in problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

  • AMPP certification as a Corrosion Specialist and Cathodic Protection Specialist is strongly encouraged.

  • Experienced in technical and client communication skills, including written and verbal.
