CNA - Summer Program, Omaha, 7p-7a (36 hrs)

SUMMER PROGRAM - CNA

*CNA experience or Clinical Rotation experience required*

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Participates in patient discharge planning
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• 18 year of age
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved CNA training program
• Active CNA certification in good standing in Nebraska
• Requires at least 6 months of CNA experience or currently enrolled in a LPN or RN program with clinical rotatation experience
