Community Health Nursing Instructor | Omaha BSN Program | Creighton University

Creighton Universityâ??s College of Nursing is seeking an appointment for a 9 month, full-time, faculty member with community health/population health nursing expertise to fill a faculty position in the College of Nursingâ??s BSN program. This on-site position is for the Collegeâ??s Omaha campus. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in population health and community-based settings.  Faculty responsibilities will include classroom instruction in the undergraduate program, clinical and simulation teaching/supervision of undergraduate students in community health settings, curriculum development, and academic advising. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the Collegeâ??s  standards of performance and university expectations for rank.

Qualifications

Potential candidates must possess at least a masterâ??s degree in nursing and 2 years of clinical nursing experience. An earned doctorate or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in classroom and simulation instruction and clinical supervision. The candidate must have a current unencumbered licensure as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
