Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Professional Development Specialist - CT/MRI. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for Radiology, enthusiastic about being a resource for both CT and MRI staff, and devoted to support both CT and MRI Tech Trainee Programs at all campuses. This specific position supports all locations with majority of the duties on Main campus in Omaha NE.
This person will on-board new employees, manage the expanded trainee programs in both CT and MRI and ensure structured training, mentorship, and professional development for CT and MRI staff. As demonstrated with diagnostic radiology this leads to improved retention and faster integration into permanent staffing.

Professional Development Specialist - CT/MRI:
Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate processes to meet the educational, development and competency need of radiology and radiology support staff through effective use of a variety of learning activities. Align activities with programs and processes the standardized functions for Radiology Professional Development.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum three years current applicable clinical experience in a health care setting required.
Bachelor's health care related field degree required.
Demonstrated ability to plan development activities that impact positive outcomes and performance required.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
Ability to solve complex problems through a well-ordered approach required.
Knowledge of systems and change theory, individual, and group behaviors, teaching and learning principles, and research outcomes required.
Ability to balance and prioritize diverse clinical and leadership responsibilities required.
Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's health care related field degree preferred.
