Shift:
First Shift (United States of America)Manage and coordinate activities related to maintaining the Strata decision support system to ensure timely and accurate patient based financial data can be used in decision making by Nebraska Medicine. Ensure these modules within Strata have integrity including: cost accounting, revenue analytics, reporting, episode analytics, patient populations and service line definitions. Provide financial leadership with objective information, analysis and Proforma development for daily operations and strategic purposes. Forecast/monitor financial performance and developing actionable recommendations to address challenges/opportunities. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long range financial plan to incorporate expected volumes, program changes, and reimbursement/cost changes. Promote widespread use of decision support tool and ensure that leadership/analysts in organization receive education/training. Partner regularly with manager of Budgeting and Cost accounting to create a robust decision support system. Develop, guide, and direct the implementation of new functionality or new applications within the decision support system. Establish relationship with vendor to enhance system functionality.
