Physicians Mutual is seeking talent for the Corporate Finance group!Â
The Finance Data Developer combines technical expertise and financial acumen to support the organization's financial systems, analytics, and reporting needs. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining interactive financial systems and automated reporting tools, integrating applications with third-party software.
Key Responsibilities:
�   Interpret business requirements and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver customized analytics and reporting solutions.
�   Utilize knowledge in data modeling, warehousing, and database administration for seamless financial system integration.
�   Apply advanced accounting, financial analysis, and IT operational knowledge to drive process improvements and foster a collaborative work environment.
�   Enhance reporting processes and system dashboards to support evolving organizational needs.
�   Ensure experience studies, monitoring systems, and financial projections are thorough, timely and accurate to enable reporting, decision-making and regulatory filings.
�   Provide timely, accurate information and analysis for management review.  Establish processes resulting in data integrity and business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
â?¢Â   Bachelorâ??s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study is required.  Â
â?¢Â   3+ years of progressive experience in IT, financial services or actuarial is required.Â
�   3+ years of experience in a statistically based data analytics role which includes knowledge using the following:
    Database Query tools and data integration tools are required. (i.e.: SQL coding, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Access, Prism, DBeaver, etc.)
â?¢Â   Demonstrate strong working knowledge of business intelligence concepts, data warehousing and data access needed to efficiently troubleshoot problems. Â
â?¢Â   Understanding of data modeling concepts for operational and analytic systems for both structured and unstructured data.Â
�   Experience developing dashboards and reporting for executive level audiences.
�   Strong abilities to collaborate with peers and various stakeholders.
