Position Summary | Graduate Medical Education: Primary coordinator of one GME program that totals fewer than 20 house officers. Coordinator for a large program that also has a GME Sr Coord for the same program and fewer than 50 house officers. or Primary Coordinator of two GME programs that total 12 or fewer house officers. Undergraduate Medical Education: Each staff are 1.0 FTE. Coordinate educational activities for about 500 students in the OME pre-clinical and clinical undergraduate medical education programs and oversee administrative tasks related to the College of Medicine’s student education. Collaborate with roughly 200 faculty to deliver educational content, manage logistics for all curriculum phases, and ensure adherence to LCME standards. Additionally, coordinate assessments and proctor exams and arrange clinical skills/simulation activities across all phases. Must be certified for N-95 fit testing. For Phases 2 and 3, the OME coordinator will oversee the curricular responsibilities of the clerkship or elective coordinator to ensure standard practices and compliance. Sees connections between routines and how they relate to other procedures within LCME. Broad knowledge of policies, procedures and systems. Knows where to seek answers. Composes correspondence and reports. Prepares and can give a moderate analysis of reports. Independently plans, organizes and implements graduate medical education activities. Schedules meetings/appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings and events. |
