Manufacturing Maintenance Job in Charlevoix, MI

Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance

Location: Charlevoix, MI

Pay Range: $25-28/hr

Shift: 1st Shift 6:30am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

Perform troubleshooting and repair of various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections according to check sheets.
Operate and maintain floor scrubbers and forklift trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic knowledge of maintenance, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes. Electrical experience preferred.
Ability to operate machinery such as floor scrubbers and forklifts.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
